Set the oven to 150 degrees or as low a setting as possible. You can set it as high as 200 degrees, but you will then need to keep a closer eye on the apples. Bake anywhere from 10 to 20 hours, checking on them periodically and flipping them over at least once to bake the opposite side. I set my oven to 170 degrees for 13 hours and got the right amount of chewy texture for each slice.
