How Do You Listen to Music at the Gym?

For most people, music is a great way to stay motivated and pumped up during an exercise session. We all have our routine — some people need to sweat it out to their own playlist, while others prefer hearing the humming of the machines around them and music on the overhead speakers. How do you prefer to listen to music at your gym?

I listen to my iPod, or hook into the tv that's on the cardio equipment (habit of watching the news, Jeopardy, or Wheel of Fortune). My gym also has a theater room which has cardio equipment in there and they show a different movie each day. It is very easy to lose track of time while watching a movie.

I use my iPod, but my gym plays the music SO loud that I often can't even hear my own music. I think it's my one peeve about my otherwise awesome gym!

Well I don't have an iPod, but I do have an MP3 player. And I don't use any of the services mentioned, but I do use the music I own on CDs.
