How Do You Wear Your Hair When You Exercise?

What's Your Workout Hairdo?

My hair bothers me so much when I'm sweating it out and it gets in my eyes or sticks to my face. So I never leave it down when I'm working out. I'm usually all about the good ol' ponytail. What about you?

headbands and ponytail for a serious run, ponytail for mid intensity run, down to play tennis with my honey - want to look pretty and it doesn't get in the way at all even though we get sweaty

A ponytail would get tangled and a bun would open itself when I jump up and down. So it's a braid for me at this length (hair down to hips almost).

A ponytail =) I can't do a bun because when I start really moving around it falls out. Braids are a good idea!

A ponytail with a "poof" because it generally makes me feel less gross/little more pretty seeing as i'm already sweating like a man and not wearing any make up. I usually use 2 hair ties though to keep it in place.

Ponytail or messy bun most of the time, except when I do classes like Zumba or kickboxing, I do low pigtails because my ponytail always falls out and I have to fix it every five minutes. Drives me nuts!

Usually it's a ponytail, but when it grows longer I put it in a bun to keep it off my neck. I don't get how anyone can work out with their hair down either...that's so gross!

My hair just at shoulder length so right now I leave it down, but when it's longer, it's all about the ponytail! I don't understand how women with long hair can work out and leave their hair down, it gets in the way and it's all sweaty!

I voted buns. Also, I do sport an occasional ponytail.

For yoga 2 braids are the best. That way I can lie down too. Regular workouts ...ponytail.

I find the pony flops around too much and aggravates me, so I need to have it in a bun.

Ponytail, but sadly, my hair is quite heavy and it's pulling on the strands. Looking for alternatives--braids maybe?

I have super long hair right now, so it's in a pony tail, but only pulled half thru on the last pass. Then I tuck the long extra strands in the holder.. If I'm bouncing too much, this won't work, and I have to have a "super bun" where I put my hair in a pony tail, then use another tie or two to keep it in a bun.

I use a head scarf so that my hair doesn't touch the mat for floor exercises and it keeps it in place.

I'm in that annoying too-short-for-a-pony-tail-but-long-enough-to-be-really-annoying hair length so I clip it up to oblivion

Ponytail usually, but a side bun for yoga so I can lie on my back.

headband, though I reckon I look ridiculous in them even though tennis players manage to pull them off

Messy but tight bun. There was a woman on the crosstrainer the other day with the most gorgeous, long, bouncy, curly hair, but it was like, free as a bird, bouncing around! I couldn't cope with that while working out.

Maybe not an exact ponytail, but hair UP! I don't know how people can stand to have hair in their faces while working out. It drives me nuts and gets all sweaty.
