How Much Time Do You Spend at the Gym?

Fitting in a lunchtime workout is always nice, but honestly, I like a longer workout. An hour just isn't enough. I prefer to do at least 45 minutes of cardio, and follow it up with 30 minutes or more of strength training mixed with stretching. Then I like to treat myself to a little sauna time. What about you?

30 minutes or so. I'm trying to build up my endurance so I can go longer, but I'm exhausted by the end. My apartment gym is small too, I pretty much do all of the weight training machines plus the treadmill. My asthma has been flaring up lately really bad, so my treadmill runs are down to 1/2 mile. I used to go about 1.25 miles each time. I'm doing more weight training and I'm doing it first, I'm sure that's a factor.

Does it matter if you do the cardio before or after strength training? I prefer to warm up for 5-8 minutes, do 45-60 minutes of weights with cardio intervals, and then do 30-35 minutes of cardio. I sweat a lot so I prefer to finish with cardio...

I usually do cardio for 45 minutes and that's it... but I'm planning on adding some strength training, so that should bump up the time a bit. :P

It depends. Most of the time, I fit in a 30 minute cardio session during lunch, but sometimes I'll go after work and do 45-60 minutes of cardio and some strength training.

I try to do at least 45-60 minutes of cardio 6 days a week and I always stretch for 10-20 minutes. I try to do 20-30 minutes of weights or core work 2-3x a week.

I have a great rate with my 24, located across the street (within walking distance) of me, but I never go! It is ALWAYS (and yes, I have tried varying times) tooo crowded (I'm talking elbow to elbow to elbow--all sweaty!). It appears like management just wants to cram as many people into the room as possible--no breathing space allowed! :(

On weekdays, about 70 minutes, 50 minutes cardio, or 30 minutes cardio and 20 minutes on weights plus about 20 minutes warming up first and stretching after. On the weekends, I add weights to the long cardio.

I take my 5 month old with me. It's a really small gym and I'm usually the only one there so it's not distracting to other gym members. I try to time it so that she's in a good mood and pack plenty of toys, but my workout only lasts as long as she stays pleasant. That's usually 30-60 minutes unless she falls asleep.
