When she was 19 years old, she was a size two. Today, Hunter McGrady is a size 16 — and she's feeling happier and sexier than ever. As a 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie, Hunter knows a thing or two about what it means to feel confident in your own skin.

"I'm a huge fan of positive affirmations," she told POPSUGAR. "I do it every single morning. It's important that we tell ourselves that we are worthy of feeling beautiful and loving ourselves and loving our bodies. What we feed our souls is just as important as the food we feed our bodies."

That's why Hunter encourages women everywhere to give themselves daily affirmations regularly. "Yell out, 'I am beautiful, I am worthy, I am confident, I love my stretch marks, I love my cellulite,'" she instructed. "I don't care how silly it sounds. You breathe these things into existence."

It might make you feel uncomfortable at first, but Hunter wants you to "tell yourself these things in the mirror every morning when you wake up." Why? Because "it'll become the norm," and soon enough, you'll fully believe all of these things every single day.

So whip out a dry erase marker and write down some affirmations on your bathroom mirror, because you've got a big day ahead of you! And all good things start with a healthy dose of confidence.
