If you're anything like me, whenever you take a vacation, you find yourself stressed about all the outfits you need to pack (and never wear), and how you're going to work out. Yes, it's a vacation, but being active without having to worry about making it to work on time for a meeting makes the workouts so much more enjoyable. I usually throw some mini bands in my suitcase, pack my TRX, and pray that wherever I'm staying has more than one treadmill and sets of dumbbells in their gym.
To avoid the disappointment of a lackluster gym, celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins created a great vacation workout that's equipment free and can be done anywhere! - High Knees
- Two Jumping Jacks and two Tuck Jumps
- Stiff Arm Burpee with Alternating Cross Rotations
- Reverse Lunge With Front Kick (left and right)
- Plyo Lunges
- Push-up to Side Plank
- Ab Decline/V Hold alternating with Scissor Kicks
- Oblique Knee Tucks
Do each exercise for 30-45 seconds, and repeat the circuit three times.
