If You're Not Sore From This Jillian Michaels Butt Workout, You're Probably Not Human

We can always count on trainer and fitness guru Jillian Michaels to give us trusty workouts, exercise tips, and general motivation for kicking ass on the daily. The badass mom is back once again, this time with a booty workout that will surely leave you sore when you wake up the next morning.

"Here's a booty burner for you," she wrote in an Instagram post. All you need are a bench and a pair of dumbbells, although Jillian also said that to make it easier, it can be done without weights.

She starts with some Bulgarian split squats with a pair of dumbbells at her side. These may look basic, but you'll feel your glutes on fire in just a few seconds. Next up is a hip thrust with two dumbbells on her lap and her upper body resting on the bench. Jillian then stands on the bench and does alternating curtsy step-ups. She's not using any weights for this one, but we're sure it burns just as much as the others.

The final exercise is the one that may bring you to tears. You start by holding one dumbbell at your chest and standing on one leg right in front of the bench. Do a single-leg squat until your butt touches the bench, then rise back up (still on one leg!) and step your other foot forward to go into a lunge. Push off the front foot so you're balancing on your back leg again, and repeat. Ouch!

"As usual — you know I like timed intervals [versus] reps so you can modify based on fitness level," she concluded. "So, each move for 30 seconds. Two Rounds."
