Like millions of people around the world, we're fans of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but we can't help but wish there were more body types celebrated on the runway each year [1]. This year proved to be the most racially diverse year [2] and boasted improved diversity and inclusion [3], but we're still left missing any female figure that isn't a size 00 and approximately six feet tall.
Because "90 percent of women feel self-conscious about their bodies" and "80 percent of women think the media perpetuates" that insecurity, intimate brand Knixwear [5] commissioned a mural in downtown Toronto and hosted an inclusive, body-positive catwalk to show that every woman's body deserves to be celebrated, and you don't need to be the height of a skyscraper with D cups to be an angel.
