Learn How to Chill Out at Exhale Spa For Free

Even though the stress-inducing elections are over, the economy is still taking a roller coaster ride, causing anxiety with every dip. While you might not be able to afford a luxury spa treatment to reduce your stress, one luxury spa is offering free meditation seminars to help you learn how to chill out and stay centered in these turbulent times.

Scattered across the US with a handful of locations, Exhale Spa is offering complimentary, weekly meditation sessions during the month of November. In these session you will learn how to soothe yourself with guided breathing, learn some acupressure techniques, and experiment with aromatherapy. All for free. Why can't these damn spas (Chicago in particular) cater to the working folk? How about some night classes, Exhale Spa? I wouldn't be able to schlep down to you during the week at 12:00 pm, even if I could take my lunch break then. Have fun teaching meditation techniques to rich-young-mother types who are pampered already!!! Ugh!!!

oooh THANK YOU for posting this. i've never been to this particular spa but i've been to many in the past few months, and i've realized that there's more to meditation and all that then you realize. i might have to make this into a girls day out :)

This would be great to take my sister too but I know she won't be available on Tuesdays this month because she starts Chemo this Monday.

I wish that there was one near me. Although I've always been really skeptical of meditation in general (especially when people say things like "it's like getting a whole night's sleep!"), I'd definitely be willing to give it a chance if someone was there to show me how, and it sounds like here it's a lot more than just breathing deeply and trying to clear your head.
