Florida-based food stylist and author Adeline Waugh is no stranger to garnering fame for her edible masterpieces. She's the creative foodie who spawned the megacolorful unicorn toast trend that we couldn't get enough of. And now, she's garnering culinary inspiration from another one of our favorite mythical creatures: mermaids!

That's right; mermaid toast is officially a thing. No, you're not dreaming. Yes, it's edible, and yes, it's actually healthy! Adeline's aquatic creations are made by mixing blue green algae powder, a nutrient-dense superfood, with homemade almond milk cream cheese — yum! The finishing touch that makes these toasts even more Instagram-worthy?
