Nobody can deny it: singer, songwriter, actress, and philanthropist Miley Cyrus looked absolutely stunning at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Jan. 28. Her long, elegant red dress was the ultimate combination of classic and modern, and her performance of "Tiny Dancer" with Elton John arguably stole the whole show. She Does a Lot of Yoga and Pilates
Miley is a devoted yogi who does some pretty impressive poses on the regular — and shares them on her Instagram for everyone to see. Her preferred practice is Ashtanga yoga, which is known to be quite difficult when you advance in the series, and she usually does two hours of Ashtanga every day. Phew! No wonder her arm balances look so good.
She's also been a Pilates-lover for quite a few years, which helps her keep a flat tummy and long, lean legs.
She's an Animal-Loving Vegan
Out of all the celebrities who are vegan, Miley is probably the most vocal about her lifestyle. After her dog Floyd was attacked by a coyote in 2014, she made the decision to give up all animal products, both in and out of the kitchen. She's now a big advocate for animal rights and veganism in general.
Glowing skin, better digestion, weight loss, and lower risk of many diseases and cancers are all known benefits of eating a plant-based diet. That's why, in an Instagram post from 2017, Miley wrote, "By not consuming animal products over the years I have protected myself from preventable diseases and saved the valuable lives of animals that would be turned into breakfast/lunch/dinner!"
She Doesn't Drink Alcohol or Smoke Weed Anymore
In an interview with Billboard last year, Miley said she had gone clean for the first time in a long time. "I'm not doing drugs, I'm not drinking, I'm completely clean right now!" she said. As someone who used to smoke weed every single day, this was a big change for Miley. And it seems to have really paid off for her. She's healthier and more clear-headed than ever!
