If you run, walk, or bike your feet certainly pay the price. Often neglected, your feet could stand to be shown a little love. I recommend investing in a pumice stone ($4). Next time you take a shower, spend some time tidying up your wet feet with your new pumice stone. Pay special attention to your rough heels. After you hop out of the shower, moisturize your tootsies. Not only will they feel soft and smooth, but getting rid of dead skins cells will help prevent fissures (cracking) on the heels, which can lead to painful infection (definitely not something you want to deal with if you're an athlete). It only takes a few minutes and it makes a huge difference.

I keep an extra pumice stone in the shower so I can scrub my feet more often :) the lady that does my pedicures even commented on the difference it made

too lazy to use it also but I looove when my boyfriend rubs my feet and puts lotion on it. I'm running a half marathon this weekend so I know I should really take of my feeties until then and definitely after.

For moisturizing, the best thing I found is to use a cuticle balm on heels (even better if you put on socks during the night). It's super moisturizing (at the moment I use the Body Shop's almond balm), gets absorbed really fast and does wonders!

Even better than a pumice stone - a file. One of those double sided black ones that's meant for your nails. They're flexible but soft, have two grits, are washable and work way better than pumice. My old nail girl used to use one and I've been a fan for years.
