Motivational Video For Weight Loss and Running

RunningSugar Reader Shares: Because I Am Inspired . . .

FitSugar Community member kellelilly posted this inspirational video in our RunningSugar group.

I first saw this video on Kara Goucher's blog. And it goes to show you that inspiration comes in many different packages.

This guy, Ben, is truly an inspiration, not just because he lost some weight. Ben is an inspiration because he reaffirms that it doesn't take millions of dollars of training to become a runner.

The biggest hurdle is to make the first few steps. Running isn't a twelve-step program; it's up to you to keep adding steps.

Ben has inspired me, and for that, I must thank him!  But first, I'm going for a run . . .

Have a running story of your own? Share it on RunningSugar because we all could use a dose of inspiration every once in a while.

This was a beautiful post!! I started crying.. it's so inspirational to see people start out having run nothing and make it to a marathon -- and Ironman! I am still working towards my first 5k but will be thinking of this as I train :) Becks - you are right that is a good show and Chris Powell is inspirational as well!

If you want to be inspired you should watch "Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition" on ABC (Monday nights at 10pm/9c)? Chris Powell the trainer is amazing. Tune in and you won't be disappointed.

TOO COOL! You go man! That guy is so inspiring! I am seriously impressed. How did he do all that in a year!? I just started running and ran a 5k two weeks ago, and honestly, nothing beets a good race. I guess it's those endorphins! :)

You know it is really hard to explain why you are all teared up at work when you go teared up by watching something online instead of working! In any case, this was wonderful to watch and bravo. So many people give up before they even try (myself included)this is a good reminder why you shouldn't.
