Oatmeal Smash!


  1. 1/2 cup oats
  2. 1/2 cup water
  3. 1/2 scoop of protein powder (I use Sunwarrior Chocolate Protein Powder)
  4. 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
  5. 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter
  1. For the topping:
  1. Whole Foods sugar free caramel dip (to taste)
  2. Millet puffs (to taste)


  1. Mix oats and water together, and cook in the microwave for almost two minutes
  2. Mix cooked oats with the protein powder, flaxseeds, and nut butter. Smash this down on a medium sized plate. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  3. The next morning, top the oatmeal smash with caramel dip and millet puffs.

Millet Puff is a whole grain cereal! I didnt ever know what it was either until I discovered it at the store a few months back!

Sounds a bit like desert...I think the caramel dip is too much for breakfast :)

thanks Janetha! Love u! Yes , I agree girls Vallecycler and Boricua, it's not appealing to everyone, I just love my oats cold though, I dont know if it's the summer heat : ) but I understand everyone how you feel : )

interesting....somehow cold oatmeal doesn't really appeal to me
