FitSugar reader actorsdiet is a big fan of sardines (can you say holy vitamin D?) and posted this sandwich recipe in the Healthy Recipe Group.

Ingredients

  1. Multigrain Bread
  2. Raw Zucchini Slices
  1. Sardine Salad:
  2. Can of Sardines
  3. 1/2 tsp Vegenaise
  4. 1/2 tsp Grainy Mustard
  5. 1/2 tsp Curry Powder
  6. Small handful Dried Fruit (I used Newman's Own Berry Blend)

Directions

  1. Mix together all the Sardine Salad ingredients in a small bowl — this is enough for two sandwiches.
  2. Spread on your favorite bread, and add whatever raw veggies you have in the fridge — I used zucchini.
