Regina King Deserves Another Award For How Strong She Looked at the Golden Globes

On Sunday, Regina King [1] won a Golden Globe for best supporting actress for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk. Her acceptance speech [2] reconfirmed why we love her. She also empowered women as she vowed to hire 50 percent women for every project she produces moving forward.

"Once I was diagnosed with hypertension, I stepped up my workouts," she told Everyday Health. She shared that she goes to the gym as often as her schedule allows, typically three to four times a week, and her preferred workouts are lifting weights or kickboxing.
