If it's been a while since you've seen Roseanne Barr [2], you might be shocked to see that both she and John Goodman [3] are looking like more svelte versions of themselves [4].
In Roseanne's case, she reached her highest weight of 350 pounds just as the sitcom ended in 1997 [5] — she then took serious measures to get in shape in 1998, when she underwent gastric bypass surgery [6]. Since the surgery, she's had some "nips and tucks," which she discussed with WebMD [7].
This weight-loss procedure allowed Roseanne to lose 100 pounds [9]. But losing weight and keeping weight off are two completely different battles! The 65-year-old [10]'s trick to maintaining that dramatic weight loss isn't all that revolutionary: "Eat less and move more [11]."

And though she's been outspokenly antivegan [12], it appears as though Roseanne has adopted a more plant-based diet [13] after moving to a macadamia nut farm in Hawaii [14].
