I love dogs, but I don't love people who let their dogs run around without a leash when I'm running. You never know if a dog that may otherwise be friendly will bite you when you're running because you seem like "prey". It sucks! I've never been bitten by a dog yet, but there is one house that I run by where they let their dog run off leash and he chases me every time I run by there. I finally yelled at the owner: "You need to keep your dog on a leash!" His response: "He ain't gonna bite you" and my response was "Yeah, well you don't know that for sure and besides, if a car was coming and he was focused on chasing me, he could get hit". After that, he kept the dog on a leash.

wow, i'm glad you brought this up. we have a fantastic park five minutes away from where i live and you'll see so many people jogging and walking. but i'm still a bit unsure as i'm sure i'd want my ipod with me but i don't like talking such a risk!
