Simple Accupressure Move Helps Stressful People Calm Down

Relax Already: Calm Your Mind

Stress builds throughout the day, and by late afternoon I can feel the pressure buzzing around my brain as my to-do list bumps into the reality of my time frame. This mental noise can certainly interfere with my ability to concentrate and make my last hour of work productive. I have found this acupressure move helps to quiet my mind.

I press the pads of my thumbs on the spot right between my eyebrows, just above the bridge of my nose. I hold the position, pressing gently, for 30 seconds to a minute while breathing smoothly. This simple move slows down my overly busy brain so I can set my attention on my work at hand. Try it right now and see if it helps you, too.

Ha, when I get edgy I tap the spot between my brows, now I know to press and hold. Hahahaha.

I love that one. Also when I have a tension headache I press the web between my thumb and index finger very hard for a minute. It kills me but always relieves some of the tension from my head.http://glossglamzenfly.blogspot.com

My face will break out if I go rubbing it. I'm looking for another jade roller. My brother who lives in China gave me one and it's fantastic for stress all over the face.

I do this when I feel a headache coming on. It does feel great, but I'm not so sure it alleviates the headache so much.

Good tip. I've done this before and I find it helps me for eye strain as well. :)
