Test Your Knowledge: Athlete's Foot and Pools

Athlete's foot is no fun. Initially it causes the skin on your feet to peel, blister or turn red. Over time, the infection can cause the tissue on your feet to breakdown, soften, become soggy, itch, and have a foul odor. Gross, I know.

You want to do all you can to prevent getting athlete's foot, so let's test your knowledge.

for me this is common sense. you can be barefoot while actually in the pool though right? obvi the floors around public pools, showers at the gym, locker room floors, are gross! these places have a distinct smell IMO, and it is a gross one. Infact, i dont' swim in indoor public pools cause they gross me out. they are always a bit too warm and i feel like the water is dirty

For anyone out there who suffers from athletes foot (or any fungal, viral, bacterial, or skin condition!) do a google search for "virgin coconut oil cures" Coconut oil is antibacterial, antiviral, anti fungal. You can eat it and get digestive benefits, and you can apply it directly to your skin! I just cured my athletes foot in 2 days with virgin coconut oil. I am pretty much obsessed with this stuff and all its uses. I urge you all to read up about it.
