My go-to foods when my stomach is off are: yogurt, plain toast, vegetable soup and plain oatmeal with slices of banana. I also drink plenty of green & white. When I am sick, my taste buds hate the flavor of ginger. So no that option. Good to know about rice being helpful; never thought of it.

Bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Never failed me once. In fact, the only time I ever eat applesauce is when I'm really sick and desperate -- I associate it with being sick.

me too! and i always give my dogs rice for their upset tummies too... they're really sensitive to anything too greasy, like poultry, but plain rice fixes them right up!

I incorporate all of these regularly into my diet, since I eat lots of exotic food and LOTS of spicy food and coffee in the mornings. nothing worse than a really upset stomach!
