Victoria's Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel on Staying in Bikini Shape

When you're wearing lingerie and bikinis year-round, you've got to have strategies that keep you comfortable in the (almost) buff. To get a few lingerie-model secrets, we asked Victoria's Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel to share with us how she stays bikini-ready all year.

Her favorite workouts: "[Yoga is] one of my new favorite ways; I just started doing more. It's nice to just be able to stretch and work on your body but also your mind," Candice says. When it's time to burn major calories, she turns to boxing. "Boxing has always worked really well for me as a full-body workout. I like something that's fast; you really feel like you're getting the energy up."

Her favorite exercise moves: "Butt for me is really important so [my trainer and I] always end with butt lifts on all fours," she says of working out with personal trainer Justin Gelband. "If I haven't seen him in awhile the whole session is butt!"

How she stays fit while traveling: Candice keeps it simple when she's on the go. She says she packs ankle weights and a jump rope for an easy take-anywhere workout and also uses her job's exotic locales to her advantage. "If I'm shooting on the beach it's good to run in the sand," she says. "It's a really good workout."

Her favorite last-minute tips: While Candice says she doesn't diet when prepping for the runway or beach ("I have to eat a lot because my metabolism is nuts, although I don't know how long it'll be like that!" she explains), she does say that she stays away from soda before a photo shoot to limit bloating. "There's nothing worse than being full and trying to feel sexy," she says.
