What Does Monday Morning Generally Mean to You?

Monday morning, the alarm clock rings and what does that mean for you? A workout to jump start your healthy week or hitting the snooze button to get a little more recovery sleep after a crazy weekend?

To beat my monday blues, I have workouts in the evening from 6 pm onwards. Makes me feel that I will have a solid week.

usually its snooze, snooze, snooze, stumble to the shower, grab a cup o joe and try to perk up in traffic and by the time I am at work I am good to go. But I must admit, I am not a morning person so this ritual usually goes on all week but Monday I hit snooze one extra time ;)

Monday morning means that I hit snooze and sleep for another nine minutes or I get off the couch (or bed) and then get ready for school. It also means I have only slept two hours because I procrastinated and now I'm extremely tired. Same goes for Tuesday-Friday.

I don't usually have to work on Mondays, so I tend to sleep in until I wake up naturally. I don't care how late it is, I figure if I'm still asleep then I probably need the sleep... This helps me recover from staying up too late on the weekend, and then I'm not tired the rest of the week.

I always get a good workout in on Monday morning...I don't feel like I've done anything useful otherwise.

Every Monday I try to commit myself to hitting the gym and eating healthy during the week. Hopefully I will stick to my commitment this week!

I took a day off from workout every Sunday. And I normally overeat on weekend. It's hard to wake up on Monday morning, but I need to work out a little bit to burn the extra calorie over the weekend. I was half sleep when I drove to the Y's this morning, but I am fine and energetic after I started exercise.

I just signed up for swimming classes on Monday nights -- so I'm guaranteed to have a workout every Monday for the next 10 weeks...whew!

My mondays involve pretty much just a workout. I go to University and mondays are my day off school..I have a three day weekend!

I usually don't work until 4:00 on Mondays, so I sleep in and the work out before work :)

in europe i work the 7-3 shift so i get to come home and take my time and work out at 8ish when i take care of all my home stuff. i love it except sometimes i just wish i could stop time and enjoy the warmth of the blankets.

Most mornings I have to drop the kids to school and get up at 6:am to get them ready. Then my self. I like to work out after work so I don't feel as rushed. So that I can enjoy my work out.

sometimes i just HATE mondays - but i do like to think that at least i have a workout - not at the end of the day - usually lunch time/mid-day to look forward to. today was especially hard since i went to visit family this past weekend and we went to a million wineries. at least i can burn off those cals since there were some VERY sweet wines in the mix.

I just got myself a personal trainer that I see three times a week. And I see him Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 6:30AM! So I get a real jump start in the morning. So far I'm loving it!

Normally I'm fine on Mondays but I had a stressful week and weekend so I'm just tired. I might try taking a nap later but I'm still for sure hitting the gym this afternoon.

I chose other because for me today, it was both! I got up at 5:30, put on my workout gear and was about to do a video, but I was tired. I couldn't fall asleep last night, and thought, I will go back to bed. Well, at 6 my boyf calls to make sure I do some form of exercise (he knows I love my bed too much) so I work up and did some strength training, but will walk for an hour tonight.

Ugh normally a lovely workout to start the week, but not today! I had a tight deadline and had to skip it. I hate starting off the week on a bad foot.
