Sour Cream & Onion
We hate to say it, but as much as we love a good protein snack, all those bars, shakes, and drinks can start to taste the same after a while. More to the point, some protein bars and drinks can come packed with more sugar than you bargain for. So when something different — and sugar-free! — pops up on the market, we're all ears, and you guys, this looks like a good one. Picture Cheetos, plus protein.
These bite-size crunchies are called Protein Puffs, from Robert Irvine's FitCrunch, and the first thing we love is that one serving size is the whole bag — perfect for those of us (aka me) who have been known to polish off entire bags of cheese puffs in one go. In that serving, you get 130 calories, 20 grams of protein, and just two grams of sugar and carbs. Just cheesy, crunchy, protein-packed goodness.
Beyond the original Cheddar Cheese flavor, the brand also offers Sour Cream & Onion and Barbecue varieties, each with the same calories and protein, varying between two and three grams of carbs. A box of eight is $22, and you can snag all the flavors through our favorite service, Amazon Prime. Check out the three flavors and nutrition info ahead.
