The fitness world is full of options. From yoga and Pilates, to cycling, running, weight lifting, dancing, kickboxing, and variations of everything in between, the list of ways to work out goes on for miles — just like endurance running. Some people are fanatics for some forms of exercise, while other options make them less than excited to move. The important thing is finding a workout that works for you. Tell me, what type of exercise have you tried and decided it just isn't for you?

Running - I get tired too fast (but I blame my bad trim for that); Yoga - it's good for relaxing, but I like 'faster' exercises And I don't like weightlifting.

I think I have tried most forms of exercise and haven't really found one that totally ISN'T for me. I have recently taken running back up otherwise I would have said the treadmill! I guess kickboxing wasn't for me. I enjoyed it but I was too scared that somebody would seriously injure me. :) My classes weren't very well supervised and a guy came down incorrectly on my foot (turned my toenails black!) and bruised me very badly. I quit shortly after that incident because I was too scared to go back! I wish my body was more flexible and no matter how much stretching and flexing I do I just have the tightest muscles ever!

Plain running. It's too boring and hurts too much.

I'm just getting into exercise but running- urgh can't do it and although i attended aerobics i didn't like it. I have 2 left feet so it was just awful

Um - all of it? :) I'm all about the healthy eating - give me fresh fruit over french fries any day, but exercise, not so much. I force myself to walk, jog and swim 4 times a week for health and weight maintenance, but trust me, I'd rather be curled up with a good book or watching the food channel! If I had to pick the WORST forms of exercise though, I would definitely go with the stationary bike and team sports. The latter brings back horrifying memories of having to play rugby in school PE, when half the girls were rough, tough farm chicks. Scared the hell out of me. :)

Running! Also any group class with a cheerleader-y instructor, which seems to rule out just about every group class except for yoga (and even that can be ruined by the teacher telling me to squeeze my glutes!)

Bikram yoga - WAY too hot for me. I'd like to like running I just can't ever seem to get into it

Yoga puts me right to sleep, and I'm terrible at any sport involving a ball.

I'm not too keen on sports like baseball, basketball, soccer or ball hockey. Too much chance of injury and too many ballistic movements!

Dance or anything that requires coordination. I have never tried aerobics, but I assume I would have a hard time with that too. I have never really enjoyed yoga either, but I don't think I have given it much of a chance either.

Spinning just isn't for me.

Aerobics are no good for me. The best I can do is a body pump class but when they do lunges in time with music I get all goofy.

Elliptical machines. It seems to me like cheating. Unless you have some sort of condition where you need to be holding on to something to stay up, or if running is too hard on your knees or body, its just ..cheating.

i used to love to run, but with my bad knees, there's just too much impact :( oh and i'm really bad at ball-centered exercises.

I pretty much love anything except indoor cardio (like the treadmill) I love running, hiking, biking, swimming, yoga, pilates, strength... Anything but a treadmill.

I hate the elliptical with a passion. I have not tried spinning yet, but after hearing others comments, I may never try it. Running can be hard on my joins at times.

I really hate the elliptical. I've tried everything to make myself like it but I just don't. Maybe it's because I love running so much...who knows. I also hate the recumbent bikes... I feel like they're useless for the most part. I love upright bikes, though. I am definitely a "moving" around kind of gal. Whether it be running, circuit training with weights or something in between.
