What Is Pop and Bottle?

This Is the Best Latte I've Ever Tasted — and It's Dairy- and Sugar-Free!

I gave up dairy years ago and never looked back. My skin cleared up, my digestion improved drastically, and I even lost weight because I was eating less junk food. But when you're not a dairy eater, it can be hard to find a latte that tastes amazing and isn't packed with refined sugars and suspicious ingredients.

When I came across a brand called Pop & Bottle, I was a bit skeptical, to be honest. Its superfood lattes are made with all organic ingredients, they're free of refined sugars and preservatives, and they're totally plant-based. Sounds like a dream, right? But how do they taste?

So far, I've tried every one of the Pop & Bottle latte flavors, and to say I'm obsessed would be an understatement. There are six different flavors to choose from: Cold Brew Coffee, Vanilla Bean, Cacao, Golden Turmeric, Mocha, and Matcha Green Tea. Each flavor is made with almond milk, along with all-natural, all-organic ingredients like dates, vanilla extract, and Himalayan salt. You'll recognize every single ingredient on the list, so you know you're not putting anything foreign into your body.

I don't drink caffeine very much at all, so I don't normally choose the Cold Brew Coffee or Mocha flavors, but I will have the Matcha Green Tea a couple times a week because the caffeine level doesn't bother me, and I love the taste of the matcha. It's perfectly creamy without being overly sweet.

We spoke to the founders of Pop & Bottle, Jash Mehta and Blair Fletcher, who explained their mission in creating these beverages: "To clean up your daily latte!" They said, "The average product was littered with tons of nasties — dairy, refined sugars, additives, preservatives, and pesticides (coffee is one of the most heavily sprayed crops in the world!). We wanted to create a genuinely healthful and delicious product that allowed us to enjoy the wonderful ritual of our daily latte, without any of these junky extras."

Jash and Blair said their goal was to "create the highest quality product." That meant they would use all-organic ingredients, which are not only better for the body, but better for the environment, too.

"We were shocked to learn that coffee is one of the most pesticide-polluted crops, or that non-organic almond farming contributes to the death of thousands of bees," they told POPSUGAR. "By sourcing certified organic ingredients, we feel we are making the best decision for our health and for the planet."

Amazing taste along with healthy, environmentally friendly ingredients? Sounds like a huge win-win-win to us.
