What Popular Olympic Sport Would You Want to Try?

Though the Summer Olympics could stand to add a few more sports, there are plenty of popular events to choose from. (There are also some mighty obscure ones, but more on those later.) If you could participate in one of the more mainstream Olympic sports, what would it be?

I actually swim, but I've yet to learn butterfly and breaststroke--and train so I can compete! :D

I started off with gymnastics wayyy back when. I was one of those little kids who would tumble all over the house and use my parents' bed as a trampoline.

Pole vaulting!!! But more realistically, I would try beach volleyball. It's the one sport I regret never playing in high school.

I'd love to compete in swimming. I love swimming and other than broad shoulders, it gives you a really toned physique.

I'm taking tennis lessons now, so I voted tennis. I would probably give gymnastics a go, though.

I did gymnastics when I was younger and up to now, I play tennis. I want to try rowing! Seems very hard on the upper body though.

i used to swim on a swim team and i played volleyball in high school and college - so i've participated in those already. i would like to learn how to dive - that seems to be the most fun. at my last job, we had a 'team' that would do this 150 mile bike tour from miami to key large each year for a charity - so that was my cycling experience too now that i think about it.

I said gymnastics. I used to be able to tumble back in my cheerleading days, and could still do one for a couple years after high school, until I broke my arm in a car accident. :P After that, I lost it. I miss the feeling you get doing back handsprings!
