Losing weight and getting fit don't happen overnight, so if you need a little tangible motivation, check out this video. This guy was out of shape and decided he would eat healthy, work out, and monitor his progress by taking a picture once a day for a year. His before and after pictures are astounding, but it's even more amazing to see the transition happen right before your eyes.

wow. interesting. funny tan and such. got a little too muscle ripply for my tastes, but job well done for working out every single freaking day. wish I could do that.

Yup I have some of my own weight loss pics. not taken daily.. but every 2 - 3 months. The difference is astounding even to myself. I think pictures serve as reminders to keep going and to never look back and be the unhealthy past. This guy has amazing discipline to work hard and improve his body and health.

I believe it too. Everyone has at least some abs if they uncover them, and he didn't start out that big. Anyhow, this is great motivation, and makes me want to try something like this.

I believe it's really him. Unfortunately, I think it's much easier for men to get washboard abs like that in one year than it is for women. I bet this is great motivation - if you're having trouble getting to the gym, you can always see how far you've come.

the tan is a bit overdone! I am a skeptic of this. In just a year? Did he do nothing but work out? I think that this type of stuff is misleading. It depends on so much on you and your bodytype. I run 4 times a week and have for a while and have stayed the same weight and shape as I was before I ran. I feel better but unfortunately I can't make a chart of my health as neat-looking as this video.

Whether this is real or not and despite his taste in necklaces and fake skin color, I wish I had taken some pictures. I haven't had a lot of weight to lose so the changes in my body after my year of working out have been quite subtle. Well, subtle to me. I could start now I guess. I did finally notice some new muscles on my belly that were once covered by my tummy. AWESOME!!!

I'd had a drastic weight loss in 2004. You know I've fallen off and really put on this year, this was so motivating for me I almost shed a tear.

That's so cool. I wish I would've done that when I lost weight. I took a few pictures in between when I started losing and when I stopped, but having a picture every day would've been really awesome.

I wish I took before and after pics. I, personally, never noticed a visual difference of myself, but everyone I ever knew felt the need to make a comment. I still don't see it, apparently I'm really imperceptive, but I do feel the difference. Kudos to the guy for living a healthier life.
