In the Summer, I often feel like the thought of going for a run or bike ride in this steamy humid weather is just too unbearable. So I love to do water sports that keep me cool but also get my heart racing and tone my muscles.

I love wakeboarding. Bought myself a new board this year. Not only is it fun, but it's great exercise for your core muscles and really works your thighs and butt.

Outrigger canoeing... it's a style of canoeing very popular in Hawaii and increasingly so here in California. It's a great workout and very relaxing!

i swim alot but i'm also in an aqua aerobic class! It's fun and a great work out. My instructor says you burn 700 calories doing it!

Swimming, loves it. But, it's also because that's the only one of them I've done so far. I'm hoping to try surfing this year or wakeboard.

Deep water aerobics!! I took my first class years ago and it was the hardest group fitness class I've ever done! I was shocked! But it was awesome to be in the pool and not feel like you're sweating!

I think I would enjoy swimming much more if I actually knew how to swim. I was afraid of the water as a child, and never really learned all of the different swimming strokes.
