Where Do You Primarily Work Out?

Where Do You Work Out the Most?

I work out all over the place — my gym by work, my gym by home, my living room, and the great outdoors, which can be hard in the Winter. Some folks find it easier to keep their fitness schedule on track if they keep their workouts in one place. What about you?

At the gym mostly, but I do have a horse and ride competitively so I definitely have the days where I assume riding is good enough for my daily dose of exercise

I have gone between the gym and at home for a long time but lately I really enjoy working out at home more. I can do it at any time, watching anything on TV or listening to any music, I can turn up the air or turn it off if I am too hot/too cold, I can wear whatever I want, I never had to worry that it is too busy that I won't have any room or any machines, and I notice that I push myself harder for whatever reason. I don't feel goofy or uncomfortable doing weird exercises either. There are definite benefits to a gym such as the amount of equipment available but I think that's why I end up pushing myself harder is because I want to get in a good workout so I have to be a bit more creative.

Mostly in my home gym, but I also work out a fair amount at the gym at work and outside if the weather is nice.

In the gym. If I run outside I get fatigued really fast and athesma, but if I run on the indoor track, I can go forever and ever. During the summer I bike and hike a lot, but while I'm at school I take advantage of the really nice campus gym we have (it's HUGE because my university is pretty much owned by Nike).

Outside - running, hiking, cycling, footbag, rollerblading, badminton. I only do weights at home.

Mostly the gym, especially in the winter because there isn't enough daylight hours to get a workout in outside. I prefer running outside and lifting weights at the gym because I cannot get motivated at home for some reason.

I workout at home with DVDs for my Pilates and Yoga, and weights - I keep it fresh every week with different exercises. I walk in the outdoors. I don't need a gym membership, personally, I'm all set :-)

I run/walk/hike outside more when it's not winter in Ohio. I love my treadmill!

Most of my runs are outdoor (depends on the weather). Other than that, swimming / spinning class / Body Pump / weight are all at my YMCA. PS: I missed my outdoor run lately, it's bad weather in Bay area for the entire week.
