Which Cardio Machine Do You Prefer?

At my gym there are many options for cardio equipment. I typically like to switch it up each time I go but I would say the treadmill is my favorite piece of cardio equipment to use. What about you guys?

The elliptical has always been my favorite...my husband is most likely going to buy one for me for Xmas or shortly after the New Year. I've wanted one for so long!

I loooooooove the stepmill at my gym! It is a butt kicker to be SURE, and I always get a serious workout on the thing. I just wish I had the space & money to have one at home.

i usually do spin but if i can't make it and had to go to the cardio machines i'd pick elliptical.

the way my legs pronate when i run makes it REALLY unpleasant to run on the treadmill...running outside is best anyway.

I also do martial arts though. My favourite form of cardio is kicking inanimate objects. =D

I don't LIKE any of them.. haha. I prefer the eliptical more than anything though, just because it doesn't hurt my knees. I really screwed in my knees by using the treadmill all the time so now I stick to cycling everywhere, step machines and eliptical for my cardio exercise. Oh.. and the rowing machine. Why doesn't the rower feel like a good workout though? I don't understand it! I do it at the highest level and for over ten minutes every time and barely break a sweat. :(

I LOVE the Elliptical but I've always wanted to try the rowing machine but I'm scared. The gym is the ONLY place I get nervous to try new things.

I usually do a rotation of elliptical, bike, and incline power-walking on the treadmill, but if I had to choose only one, I'd definitely pick the elliptical... and pilates and yoga classes!

It's a tie between elliptical and treadmill. I use both equally.

I loathe the treadmill but tolerate the eliptical above all, well, next to the bike. I just hate running.

I love my treadmill. I don't think I could live without it. Its an easy way to get your heart going. Plus you can do different levels of exersize. If you don't feel like running, just walk at a fast pace.

The treadmill and ellipitcal are my two core cardio machines, but I also like the stepmill and the arc trainer. It is good to mix it up :-)

I hate the elliptical. I run on the treadmill for an hour, do the stairstepper and spinning. Rowing is good at times too. I've never tried teh Arc trainer so looks like I'm gonna try that next.

I have a Tony Little's Gazelle. It's great if you have a bad back or knees since there's no impact and you can change the resistance levels so you get a great workout.

I'm surprised the arc trainer isn't more popular. Out of all the cardio machines, my trainer said that it is the best for overall body workout and most calories burned.

Elliptical but I have to agree...dance classes are the way to go! So much fun and have you seen a dancer with a bad body?
