How could something with added sugar be less in calories? I don't get it. But oh well, mojito anyone? :)

Yay!! That makes me happy since I love Mojitos...although I'm not totally convinced with the results.

I am also not buying it. I think the high sugar content in a mojito is way more problematic if considering weight concerns and sugar ages you too. Not worth it. Gin and tonics are good for you(gin is made with herbs, so I can tell myself that at least!)..

I prefer a nice G&T with diet tonic water anyways.

I could put on a pound every time I drank a g&t, and it wouldn't stop me. G&Ts are the best thing on Earth!

Wow, I guessed wrong...but Mojitos are better anyway!

I don't buy this either - mojitos have all that extra added sugar. There's no way.

The solution to this dilemma is to simply use diet tonic. My standard drink is a vodka tonic, which comes in at less than 100 calories when made with diet tonic water, and any difference in taste is negligible.

I don't buy it. Both gin and rum (not to mention vodka) have approximately the same amount of calories (something like 65 per ounce). Add that to soda or tonic water and that's all the calories in the drink. Add that to the simple syrup and fruit juice in the mojito and there's a lot more calories. So...I'll be sticking to my gin and tonics.

Wow thats suprising! Well now I feel a little bit better about Mojitos being my summer drink of choice.
