Which Part of Your Body Needs to Be Stretched the Most?

I run and bike regularly, so my hamstrings are always tight. That's why I do forward bends daily to stretch them out. What about you?

I am on the computer for hours upon hours so my arms, wrists, and hands need the most stretching. I am hoping to avoid arthritis problems later. I do my stretches all the time, too: I take breaks from my work to loosen my tendons and muscles, and when I'm driving or hanging out I stretch my wrists and fore arms.

My calves get SO TIGHT and start to spasm if I don't stretch enough, it is so painful. I do elliptical and treadmill alot and I absolutely have to stretch for a good 15 minutes or the calf muscles lock up.

It changes day to day. My legs are pretty flexible now thanks to yoga, but my upper hammys and all of my back could always use a little stretch, extended butterfly or child's pose

Today, my back and core. I did some serious Pilates yesterday and found muscles I didn't know I had, lol.

The most is my back which at minimum is stretched before getting out of bed and before going to bed (always)! I have old sports injuries and at almost 50, it's the only way to keep upright sometimes! My mom has arthritis in her spine and elsewhere, so doing all I can in case that's my fate as well. Staying a healthy weight helps too, especially with the knees.

Hips and calves - my shin splints disappeared the day I started yoga and learnt the proper downward dog pose. Now I do at least a couple of downward dogs every day to keep the splints at bay. :)

My upper back neck & shoulders I am always streching. 4 times a day, sometimes more. Always when I get up, after my workout, & haveway through the day, & at night before I go to bed, & whenever needed. My boobs pull really bad so my neck & upper back are sore & tight alot. I want to get a breast reduction but after I lose weight. Amy Kay

My calves and my back are where I'm most prone to aches, but my hamstrings are super inflexible too... need to work on that!

Same as MLH1 - I have plantar fasciitis on my right feet, and I always need to stretch my calf area after my run.

My calves. I ruptured my right achilles tendon a year and a half ago, so having half a right calf muscle causes a ton of soreness. I have to stretch them all the time!

definitely my back... I am top heavy so my shoulders are always working hard, and if I get stressed I very much internalize it physically into my torso/back/shoulders. no fun!

Hips the most, hamstrings next. I had a hip injury a few years go, and it really tightens up. Plus I sit all day at work. I have lots of good stretches though!
