The figure skating commentators at this year's Winter Olympics at Pyeongchang [2], South Korea, are best friends (and former Olympians) Tara Lipinski [3] and Johnny Weir. Both figure skaters have competed for the gold in the past. Tara won a gold medal at the 1998 Olympics in Japan [4], while Johnny famously paid homage to his idol in his 2010 routine to Lady Gaga's "Poker Face [5]." Though neither are performing this year, their sassy rinkside commentary has already been a much-discussed highlight [6] of the Olympic Games.

Their long friendship is well-documented (and quite evident when watching their banter live); they even share a joint Instagram account (@taraandjohnny [7]). Their witty rapport has been well-honed over the years, as the fabulous duo have done everything from attending the Kentucky Derby [8] to visiting the White House together [9].
