Words That Move You . . .

"I run because I can. When I get tired, I remember those who can't run, what they'd give to have
this simple gift I take for granted, and I run harder for them. I know they would do the same for me."

I love this. It's good to remember not to take our healthy bodies for granted.

Just beautiful. I think is great because it reminds people who are lazy (me sometimes) that I should be thankful to be able to move my body.

This is so true. I went from running 30k a week to becoming lightheaded walking up a flight of stairs over the course of two weeks last Fall, and I now need a bone marrow transplant in April. I would do anything now to just run a quick 3k even, and when I recover and can finally get back out there again, I'll never take my runs for granted again.

I am so Thankful that you run harder for people like myself. I am coming back from 10 years of not being able to run because of a bad sports injury, I have about 6 more months before I can attempt to run. It always makes me sad when people waste a healthy body. So thank you for not wasting yours, and instead letting me live vicariously through your runs.
