Workout for One Full Week to Really Jump Start 2008

Fit Tip: Just Give It One Week

A lot of us have resolved to get fit in 2008, and before you start dreading it, I suggest that you give your new workout routine at least a week of serious commitment. In just one week you will not only be well on your way to changing your shape, but you'll also be well on your way to changing your attitude. You may feel sore, but you'll have more energy. In one week of exercising you will certainly sweat, but you'll look forward to that post-workout shower. You may hate every minute of it while you're at the gym or running, but you'll love the way you feel when you're done.

I think it took me a good solid month of working out before I really considered it a habit, but after the first week I definitely felt better.

I can never stick to a diet... I hate diets!!! Why oh why did anyone ever create them??? Sigh.... it's a love/hate relationship.

This is a good tip; I tend to get frustrated with myself when I slip up and just drop the entire diet, but should just focus on a week at a time!

I've heard that once you do something for I thnk 2 weeks it because a habit. Maybe it's longer but I'm not sure. I hate working out, but everytime I leave the gym I feel better. Granted I'm sore today, but it's a good feeling to feel those muscles. I'm starting to like it. I still bitch about going but I do it! I really think 08 is going to be a good year for me.

My fiance did a kick-start bootcamp we created ourselves over Christmas break. Since we had the time we did two-a-day workouts and got creative with the circuits we created at the park, beach, and our yard. Sore muscles ensued but its all good this weekend. Do it. Find a friend to tag-along and it is so much fun.

I've been eating healthy and exercising but on the first I am going on a dreaded 'diet'. I need a kickstart but I am so so nervous!

I started a month and a half ago and it defiantly gets my day going. I trudge off to the gym every morning at 6am, go to zumba on Tuesdays and cant wait for the kick boxing to start. I'm so sick of being sluggish and overweight for my standards (Im 25, 5'3" and 150lbs) when I used to be a fit 120lbs 4 years ago. So heres to 2008 being my year to look back and say " Some things do get better with age".
