Butterfly allows you to stretch the right and left hips at the same time. You'll also feel a nice stretch in your lower back.
- Sit on the ground, bend both knees, and bring the soles of your feet together.
- Lengthen your spine, drawing your belly button in. Relax your shoulders and begin to fold forward, drawing your forehead toward your feet.
- Keep your hands on your feet, pressing your knees down with your arms, or if you want more of a stretch, extend your arms out in front of you. Stay here for five breaths and then sit back up.
