I don't see what the problem is with irradiated foods. It doesn't change the nutritional value of the food. One of the greatest utilities of this technology is to treat meat- and one of the only side effects is that since irradiation slightly warms the food it could change the taste....but since you cook your meat anyways it doesn't make a difference. You may not feel that it's "natural" to irradiate your food, but it's certainly preferable to eating bacteria that may be present in your food.

I wouldn't eat irradiated food ever! I want the FULL nutrition and glow of my raw fruits and veggies...irradiated just isn't right. ain't natural, thats for sure.
