Peloton Just Launched a New Clothing Line in Collaboration With 4 Different Black Artists

Peloton is launching a clothing and accessories line in honor of Black History Month and in collaboration with four talented Black artists. The line features 18 individual pieces that honor Black stories, and each creator worked with two select Black Peloton instructors during the design process. It's culture-influenced art you can wear and carry with you.

Temi Coker [1] is an artist from Dallas. According to Peloton, his work reflects his upbringing in Nigeria and his love for African culture, and his pieces in the brand's collection were developed alongside instructors Jess Sims [2] and Chelsea Jackson Roberts. There's a tote, women's capri leggings and a bra, and a unisex hoodie, and they're titled "Light the Way" collectively for education within the Black community.

Lettering artist and designer Huston "Hust" Wilson [3] from Johannesburg, South Africa, created "Bring Your Whole Self" featuring women's leggings and a bra, men's printed shorts, and a unisex tank and pullover crew. The pieces were inspired by what brings power to the personalities and experiences of instructors Adrian Williams and Tunde Oyeneyin.

South Carolina illustrator Sanford Greene [4] created "Come Into Your Power" with Chase Tucker and Alex Toussaint. It features a reusable water bottle, a hat, and a unisex tee and hoodie with designs that represent "the power, beauty, strength and wisdom within the Black community," Peloton states.

Lastly, the "United We Move" section, featuring a unisex hoodie and tank, women's bra and leggings, and a printed tote, was created by illustrator Monica Ahanonu [6] from Los Angeles in collaboration with trainers Ally Love [7] and Hannah Frankson. In a nutshell, it represents unity across Black culture.

Ahanonu told POPSUGAR, "I was inspired by the diverse energy of the Peloton community [8] while creating my design. I incorporated a large number of vibrant colors and overlapping shapes to represent the beauty that is created when people from varying cultures and environments come together — in this case on the Peloton platform — and work toward a common goal."

Peloton is also devoted to making an impact during Black History Month by donating $100,000 to The Steve Fund [9], an organization that works to support the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color in the US.
