Grammy Award-winning rapper Eminem [1] is making his Artist Series debut on the popular workout platform Peloton [2]. The four-day series begins with a three-part boxing event tomorrow, Jan. 28. Relaying his excitement about joining the Peloton Artist Series roster [3], Eminem [4] tweeted, "Float like a butterfly, I'm gonna sting like a bee [5]," lyrics from his single "Greatest." Expect to sweat to the rapper's catalog of hit songs during select boxing, bike [6], strength, and boot-camp classes from Jan. 28-31.
At 6 p.m. ET tomorrow night, a 30-minute shadowboxing class with instructor Rad Lopez [7] kicks off the Artist Series. Following Lopez, instructors Selena Samuela [8] and Kendall Toole [9] will each lead 30-minute shadowboxing classes at 7 p.m. ET and 9 p.m. ET, respectively. This schedule is "[d]esigned so members can join across multiple time-zones, tune in to any of the three live boxing classes, all of which will be made available later on-demand," Peloton explained in a press release [10]. The boxing classes on the Peloton app are mostly equipment-free, with the exception of a workout mat that the Get Hooked: Peloton boxing program [11] recommends. All classes will be accessible by mobile phone, desktop, or tablet via the Peloton app.
After tomorrow's event, you can continue working out with the self-proclaimed "Rap God" during the following classes:
