In case it's not obvious, I love hummus. With all the nutritional benefits — high protein and fiber — one should be weary not to eat too much of it, because it does have a decent calorie and fat count. One tablespoon of the dip has 1.5 grams of fat and 25 calories. Not bad at all, but I go through a bowl full of the spread in no time. Next time you dip, be stingy and try not to lump a heap on every bite of your carrot or celery.
