Mix It Up
There are many ways to mix up your running program to make it feel unique and exciting with each training run. If you get tired of your neighborhood runs, find a trail, a park, or scenic route to add to your training plan. Mixing up your runs with hills and intervals gives your body a new challenge when you’ve adapted to road running. When you’re mixing things up, don’t forget to give your mind a change, too, and try changing up your playlist, adding an audiobook, or diving into a podcast to keep your mind engaged and busy during your runs.
