Ready Your Coffee: These New Vegan Creamers Have 10 Calories Per Serving and Zero (!!!) Sugar

Mooala

Coffee is oh so delicious, and creamer is the holy grail that takes it up a notch both in flavor and in, well, creaminess. But what if we told you that you could swirl in creamer that's 100 percent dairy-free and low-cal? Mooala, known for its organic almond milks and assortment of banana milks (which we taste tested in the past), just came out with plant-based vegan creamers in Vanilla Bean, Oats 'n' Crème, and Banana Nut. All three have just 10 calories per serving and absolutely no added sugar. Shocked yet?

These dairy-free creamers feature a base of coconut cream and almonds. Vanilla Bean has the added bonus of — you guessed it! — real vanilla beans. Oats 'n' Crème is made with organic oats, while Banana Nut is a nutty take on Mooala's bestselling banana milk.

A spokesperson confirmed to POPSUGAR that they're currently available for $4 at 98 Wegmans stores across New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and Massachusetts, as well as select Central Market locations. And, come June, Fresh Market and EarthFare will be carrying Mooala creamers in over 150 stores! You can find a store near you on the Mooala website. Ahead, check out the nutritional info for each vegan flavor and a review of what each tastes (and smells) like.

Review: It smells delicious — like banana bread. When you mix it in with coffee, the flavor is subtle but definitely gives coffee a banana-y, nutty aftertaste that truly does give you banana bread vibes.

Review: This one smells like a less-sweet version of a cinnamon roll fresh from the oven. It gives coffee a subtle cinnamon flavor that, again, isn't super profound.

Review: It smells super sweet — like vanilla frosting — but when you add it to coffee, you can barely taste the sweetness. That's not a bad thing, but the vanilla bean flavor definitely wasn't prevalent. It cuts the blackness of the coffee for sure, though I wouldn't say it adds a profound vanilla flavor.

And the Winner Is . . .

And the Winner Is . . .

For me, the one that stood out the most in flavor was Banana Nut. They all smell sweet, but don't be fooled — when added to coffee, you won't get the same sweetness that you'd expect. If you like your coffee with a bit of sugar (nothing more, nothing less) I'd definitely recommend these creamers. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to finish this Banana Nut bottle . . . but not all at once, of course!
