Make It Special
I'm guilty of grabbing food and chowing it in my car, or shoving bites of cereal into my mouth as I stand over the kitchen counter. Instead of eating on the run, set aside time for meals and snacks and make them special. Instead of peeling a banana and eating it with a handful of peanuts while walking about, I make a banana dog instead. Taking time to prepare your food in unique ways on special plates or fancy bowls will make you appreciate it more, so you're less likely to just scarf it down.
