ABC Pulls Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution From Tuesday Nights

Oliver's Food Revolution Pulled From ABC

Jamie Oliver has not had much good luck as of late. He ran into all sorts of difficulties when shooting the second season of Food Revolution in Los Angeles, and now it's been pulled from its regular Tuesday night time slot.

The show, which premiered on April 12, didn't get high enough ratings, so ABC has removed it from the schedule. However, the network plans on airing the remaining episodes on Friday nights starting June 3.

Although I caught the premiere episode, I haven't been watching it each week.

How about you?

How disappointing! I started watching it on Hulu.

Lame. Guess ABC really only cares about the ratings, and not what this show might inspire other schools to do.

I heard about the ban on home lunches! If I had kids and I heard about that, I would not hesitate to pull them out of school! I love what Jamie Oliver is doing! I wish ABC would show some support for this cause, instead of being so concerned about their bottom line. Do they really think this show is going to make them go bankrupt? Hopefully another network picks him up for a third season. If I had the money, I'd pay for a network to do that!

I am sad to hear this. I mean he is trying to improve adults and children's eating habits but I am somewhat disgusted that he is facing so much resistance. Makes me suspect that something more "sinister" is going on like one poster alluded to in regards to Chicago Public Schools are considering banning students from bringing lunch from home.

Ugh, I was wondering what happened last week. That sucks, I was really into it & looking forward to tuning in every week. Boo ABC.

This show had gotten me really excited about his goals. I am very disappointed that they pulled it from the air. It figures that the show that is about health would be ignored. Seriously, why are we so ignorant to our own health?

Kind of bummed, I agree with amber512 it wasn't quite as good as the last show but he wasn't even let into the school district! To bad people it seems like people don't really care what their kids are eating! :(

That's such a bummer, I've watched each episode! It's defintely not as good as the first season, but I think that's because he can't actually get into the schools to do anything so there's too much filler!
