Although there have been no illnesses reported in response to the frozen peas, Aldi has issued the recall "out of an abundance of caution." They all have August 2018 as the "best by" date, and one of the following packaging codes: DC17038 PLAB6176, DC27038 PLAB6176, DC27038 BNAF7286, DC37038 BNAF7286, DC47038 PLAC6216, or DC57038 PLAC6216.
Frequent Aldi shoppers need to check their peas immediately, and if packages contain one of the specific codes, they should return the peas to the store for a full refund or throw them out right away.
