Sure the 25 cent deposit for a cart [1] may deter some people, but many swear by Aldi because of it's so dang cheap [2]. Plus its aisles are stocked with all the foods you need to throw fast and easy meals and snacks together. These particular recipes all have one thing in common: they come together quickly and taste incredible thanks to a few genius tips.

Low on oats? Try a quinoa porridge [3] for breakfast instead.

Dinner doesn't have to be fancy. Mimic your childhood dinners with adult flair. Grill up some hot dogs (or sausage), roast broccoli [4], and dress up some mac and cheese with everything-bagel seasoning [5].

Freshen up packaged risotto mixes with fresh basil and freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Use pita bread as the base for a homemade personal pizza. Throw in some veggies too, like sliced tomato, onion, and mushrooms.

A can of diced tomatoes with green chilis, three avocados, onion, and garlic granules is all you need for awesome, throw-together guac.

Fry Aldi's German Meatballs in an air fryer [6] before putting them over pasta.

Sneak some veggies into a cream-cheese-slathered bagel. Try spinach with sliced tomato and onion.

Saute chicken sausage with zucchini and peppers. Serve it with brown rice. Double up your efforts and meal prep for a few days (or for the week).

Roast slivers of sweet potato coated in olive oil and salt for makeshift french fries.

Experiment with a new sandwich combo: turkey, green apple, avocado, and mozzarella on oat bread.
