Applebee's is closing out Summer with quite the stiff drink. As part of its extremely affordable Neighborhood Drink of the Month program [1], the chain restaurant just announced it will be offering one-dollar Adios drinks for the entire month of September.
Also referred to as a Blue Motorcycle or Adios Motherf*cker, the drink is basically a Long Island Iced Tea with a blue hue. Served in a ten-ounce glass, the Applebee's iteration consists of vodka, rum, tequila, gin, blue curaçao, sweet and sour mix, and Sierra Mist. So . . . like we said before: a stiff drink indeed!
In a press statement, Vice President of Beverage Innovation — hello, love that job title — Patrick Kirk said, "Say goodbye or hello with our take on this special drink that's packed with spirits and gives you a reason to kick back and enjoy."
