Because beignets evidently aren't indulgent enough, Walt Disney World just introduced a jaw-dropping sweet-and-savory variation: the beignet cheeseburger. At the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory [1] located in the Port Orleans Resort, visitors can now order the unconventional burger.
At $14, the new menu item consists of a patty sandwiched between two beignet "buns" and topped with American cheese, bacon jam, pickled onions, lettuce, and pickles. To really drive it all home, the beignets are dusted with powdered sugar. The burger also comes with thick-cut steak fries and a small cup of coleslaw.
