There'll be plenty of hot dogs and pretzels served during the MLB season, but this year, the stadium pickings won't be quite so slim. In fact, baseball fans can find a growing assortment of gourmet eats at stadiums across the country. Forget peanuts and cracker jacks; these are foods you'll want to munch on even after you're done rooting for the home team. Pat LaFrieda's Steak Sandwich at Citi Field

Aside from its team, the New York Mets stadium gets to boast another fan favorite: legendary meat purveyor Pat LaFrieda's original filet mignon steak sandwich. The hand-cut black Angus meets monterey jack cheese, sweet caramelized onions, and a toasted french baguette for a taste that's hard to beat.

Ceviche at Marlins Park

Leave it to the Miami Marlins team to sell ceviche on game days. Find the tilapia, yellow corn, chopped onions, and chips mixture in white cups throughout the stadium — we hear it's simply buenísimo.

Andrew Zimmern's Eats at Target Field

Andrew Zimmern has been known to bemoan the lack of good ballpark food at Target Field, home to the Minnesota Twins. Thankfully, this baseball season, fans can get their gourmet food fix at AZ Canteen, Zimmern's own food truck, which will offer everything from a Pat LaFrieda goat/lamb burger to a Cabrito sausage grinder with cabbage slaw.

Gilroy Garlic Fries at AT&T Park

AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, is known among foodies and sports fans alike for being one of the leading stadiums in the country when it comes to darn good food. Case in point: the famous garlic fries from Gordon Biersch that are made using fresh parsley and garlic. Mmm, we can smell them from here.

Holeman and Finch Burger at Turner Field

Atlanta Braves fans don't have to go to the trendy Holeman and Finch Public House to enjoy a handcrafted burger; they can eat it as they watch players run from base to base. The mouthwatering double-patty cheeseburger comes with house-made ketchup, mustard, and pickles on a butter-toasted bun.

Fish Tacos at Petco Park

The space that hosts the San Diego Padres knows a thing or two about good fish tacos. It's as much of a staple down South as hot dogs are at Dodger Stadium. Topped with garlic sauce, cabbage, and salsa, they're perfect for a hot day at the ballpark.

The Caz at Minute Maid Park

The home of the Houston Astros hosts The Caz, a Bryan Caswell grill. Expect a menu featuring half-pound burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, specialty sausages, hand-cut fries, milkshakes, and signature chili cheese fries. If that's not a scrumptious list, we don't know what is.

Federal's Fried Chicken and Donuts at Citizens Bank Park

Forget about chicken and waffles: it's all about the Federal Donuts fried chicken and donuts at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies. The gourmet snack is extremely popular throughout the city, and our stomachs can see why.

Ichiroll at Safeco Field

Sushi and baseball? Yep, they go together better than you'd think, and it's hard to find a Seattle Mariners fan who hasn't heard of the Ichiroll. Although it was named after player Ichiro Suzuki, who now plays for the Miami Marlins, the roll still lives on. Who'd want to give up a spicy tuna roll with black sesame seeds, wasabi, and daikon radish sprouts?

Crab Cakes at Oriole Park at Camden Yards

It's no wonder that the home base of the Baltimore Orioles serves up Baltimore's famous snack: crab cakes. One bite of the fresh, local jumbo lump crab meat (it's offered with sauces and a lemon wedge), and you know you're having a true Charm City experience.
